Route the actual concern. Ask what prompted the inquiry: visible growth on HVAC surfaces, drain-pan or coil maintenance, odor, dust, smoke, allergy concern, a product recommendation, or airborne infection control. Route water, active microbial growth, medical symptoms, smoke, ventilation, and filtration questions to the appropriate assessment instead of prescribing a lamp from a form.
Name the application and product. Identify coil/surface irradiation versus in-duct airstream treatment; model, lamp type, wavelength or technology as documented by the manufacturer; intended target; installation location; power supply; supported operating conditions; and ozone information. Avoid mixing UVGI, ionization, photocatalytic oxidation, and ozone generation.
Publish the fit inspection. Explain the cabinet, coil, drain pan, duct, airflow, electrical, access, clearance, heat, moisture, material, and service-door checks performed before quoting. State what requires manufacturer review or a different product, and whether drilling, wiring, interlocks, warning labels, or access changes are included.
Audit safety and claim boundaries. Address direct and reflected UV exposure, eyes and skin, service lockout or shutoff, access-panel warnings, lamp breakage, material degradation, ozone, and trained maintenance. Treat source control, ventilation, filtration, moisture correction, and cleaning as separate controls; do not promise disease prevention, mold remediation, or an “allergen-free” home.
Define commissioning and upkeep. List installation and electrical checks, lamp operation without unsafe viewing, interlock or shutoff verification where applicable, cabinet closure, labeling, owner instructions, baseline maintenance date, cleaning method, replacement trigger, parts source, warranty registration, and disposal responsibility.
Test the estimate path. Submit a coil-treatment inquiry and an airborne-treatment inquiry on mobile. Verify product and system fields, photo handling, price boundary, maintenance disclosure, callback timing, appointment status, confirmation, call fallback, error recovery, and that the form does not diagnose contamination or guarantee a result remotely.
